The Story of the Album’s Production

In spring 2023, The Noisy released the single, “Morricone” with an accompanying music video directed by Ewan Hill. This launched our crowdfunding campaign for our debut album, produced by Jacob Lawter of Slow and Steady. In collaboration with artists like ceramicist Lou Howard, illustrator Sarah Moore, graphic designer Alex Bruce, and multimedia artist Fern Vieser, we sold t-shirts, totes, mugs, and raffled off a spaghetti western cowboy hat, in addition to organizing a GoFundMe campaign and a month-long tour. We raised over 3000 dollars and funded the creation of our album. This album is for our queer community.

“Morricone”

Our single released ahead of our spring 2023 fundraiser. Strega Nona meets Clint Eastwood spaghetti western. Recorded by Ben McLaughlin of Red Moon Sound.
